At TLC we provide solution focused learning for students aged 4 to 94, who need support in achieving school success, as well as those wanting to learn more about technology. With educational evaluation and consulting services, advocacy services, counseling, and pediatric medical services, TLC can do whatever it takes to reach your learning goals.

Dr. Carol Utay, founder and Executive Director of Total Learning Centers, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She has extensive experience as a school principal, teacher, computer trainer, national speaker, adjunct professor, and author. She was a founding member of the International Dyslexic Association Pittsburgh Regional Group. With a doctorate in education, she has trained thousands of teachers and parents to help children achieve success, and thus feel good about themselves.

Dr. Joe Utay, also a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, is well respected as a counselor, psychologist, family therapist, author, national speaker, teacher, and director. When not working as a professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania training school counselors and other mental health professionals, "Dr. Joe" is the Director of Counseling and Evaluation Services at Total Learning Centers. He is a certified School Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor.
